Marissa Smith joined Johnson & Johnson in July of 2017 as a medical device marketer in the Marketing Leadership Development Program (MLDP). In this two-year program, Marissa rotates across three different marketing teams and operating companies.
Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Marissa graduated with an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, with a concentration in healthcare management. She attended Ross as a fellow through the Consortium for Graduate Studies in Management and the National Black MBA Association and served as the president of the Black Business Students Association. Before Ross, she worked as an internal consultant for UnitedHealth Group in Minneapolis, MN, where she supported a variety of internal and external clients to help them enhance their operations.
Marissa earned a BS in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis as a recipient of the Ervin Scholarship, where she majored in Healthcare Management and Marketing and minored in French and Spanish.
Marissa is a native of Atlanta, GA and enjoys fitness, travel, community service, reading, and wine tasting. She is passionate about helping communities embrace healthy lifestyles and is excited to be involved with a World Fit for Kids.
